Join us for some virtual honey bee waggle dancing! Use your right and left arrow keys to make your avatar waggle like a bee!

1:00 - 2:00 Dirt Hour

1:00 – 1:15 Meet the Eco-Artists: Learn about the DIRT 2020 performance art project.

1:00 – 1:30 Discussion: How can art help to promote engagement in composting?

1:30 – 1:45 Kid’s Video: DIRT

1:45 – 2:00 Activity – DIRT PAINTING: For all ages; you’ll need a brush, paper, water, and some dirt.

2:00 - 3:00 Mushroom Hour

2:00 – 2:30 Meet the Eco-Artists: Learn about the Myco-Rise living mushroom sculpture project.

2:30 – 2:40 Kid’s Video: MUSHROOMS

2:40 – 3:00 Activity – MUSHROOM PRINTS: For all ages; you’ll need paper, ink or paint (mud paint works), mushrooms, and something to cut the mushrooms.

4:00 – 4:15 Meet the Eco-Artists: Learn about the Wind & Waves and Seed Stories community art projects.

4:15 – 4:30 Discussion: Share your plant stories! Tell us a story about a plant that is important to you or your heritage.

4:30 – 4:40 Kid’s Video: PLANTS

4:40 – 5:00 Activity – DESIGN A SEED PACKET: For all ages; you’ll need some paper (or the Salt Tree Art seed packet template), and pencils, pens, crayons, or markers for coloring.

5:00 - 6:00 Pollinator Hour

5:00 – 5:15 Meet the Eco-Artists: Learn about the Sticky Situations honeycomb sculptural project.

5:15 – 5:30 Discussion: Raising awareness on solitary pollinators with art.

5:30 – 5:40 Kid’s Video: POLLINATORS

5:40 – 6:00 Activity – BUILD A BUG HOTEL: For all ages; you’ll need an empty tin can and some paper (paint and string are optional).
